While I was student teaching you may remember me telling you about my students making Cold War Comics. Well, my mentor teacher gave me the application so I could play around with it and figure it out for any questions the students may have. I made the comic below a while ago but was just reminded of it and decided to share. I will probably make more in the near future. Sorry for all the family inside jokes that you may not understand! :)

Lately
I have the most boring life. I have been working too much and when I don't work I'm either too tired to do anything, or I don't do anything exciting enough to document. Mentor has a serious deer problem, and our yard is no exception. We have anywhere between 2-16 deer in our yard at least once a day. My parents have even seen a buck with antlers! I, unfortunately, have not seen one yet!
The other day I got off subbing and saw some deer. I was hoping to see a buck because the day before my parents had seen it. I didn't, but I figured I could use the practice getting some pictures and sit outside with my dog who loves watching the deer. She is so cute because they are like the only animals she won't bark at. She'll just walk really slowly and quietly and sit down and just stare at them. A few times the deer have stomped their hooves at her to see how she would react and she just sits and watches. I took some pictures of her watching them as well.

Thanksgiving
As I get older I realize how good I had it when I was younger. Thanksgiving at my grandma and grandpa Albert's was always the best. My grandma made the best food (especially her cole slaw)! If I could go back for a day I would because it was that "typical" Thanksgiving that I hope to show my kids one day. The past few Thanksgivings I was stuck in Cincinnati, so this was my first Thanksgiving at home in three years!
It was nice to be surrounded by family, but I did miss having a huge family around. Even for my immediate family it was just me and my mom. Nonetheless it was still fun hanging out with my cousins and eating delicious food. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving as well!
**Sorry for the terrible quality of some of my pictures. Like I said I'm still learning how to do indoor shots with my camera!
