Watercolor Experiment: Built
Mackenzie picked the topic this week. I love what she came up with for her idea of "built." Mine just looks like a 5 year old did it. I really like how she blends her colors. That's something I need to learn to do. I feel like my paintings are more like acrylic paintings than watercolors. But I guess this is why we are doing this!

I know I said this before, but I love this idea! I like the little smoke swirls coming out of your cabin.
ReplyDeleteTry using more water. I always have the same problem with the opacity. Also try different techniques like putting water on the paper, then the paint.
Yeah, I get nervous with the water though because it leaks, but I guess that's the point of water colors! haha.
DeleteWe should do something like it! Maybe starting in December, but with a different medium. Like hand lettering? I don't know! We should think though! I just can't do it now since I'm super busy with school and work!
