My next guest post is pretty awesome. Although Dima isn't a blogger he actually reads my blog (as best he can because he doesn't speak English) which I think is pretty cool! Also, it was my first post in Russian! My friend, Katherine, actually translated it for me, but I will add the original to the end so he can share it with his family and friends!
The Red Sea
"In 2012, I traveled to Egypt and the Red Sea for a weeklong cruise. The trip was an “all inclusive” tour, and was full of mostly Russian and Italian tourists. The Red Sea and the tour was one of the most beautiful experiences ever. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the cold and snow of winters in the United States or Russia. With the friendly staff, warm weather (around 90 degrees in the winter), and nice beaches, you have the makings of a perfect vacation! Every day the tours offered visits to historical sites. Egypt has a lot of very old cities with a very long history, such as Luxor, Cairo, and Alexandria, along with large temples and prehistoric sites. Most importantly, you can see the Pyramid of Giza or the Tomb of the Pharaohs of Egypt.
The entire coast is strictly protected by the government of Egypt. There are so many laws that protect the animals that live in and around the area. Before a trip to Egypt, it is important to follow these laws. For example, if you want to bring home the coral as a souvenir then as little as one centimeter of coral carries a punishment of ten years of in prison. Corals grow very slowly which is why the punishments are so severe. One of the tour guides told us a story about a girl who accidentally broke coral while she was snorkeling and took it with her. She was later sentenced to 110 years!
The underwater world of the Red Sea is also very rich with every possible species of fish. They can be of different sizes and colors. For example, there is the Napoleon fish which is about the size of a person. This fish is very friendly and not dangerous, although it looks scary to humans because of its size and disproportionately large head. The Red Sea also has a ton of dolphins. During my stay, I even saw a couple during a dive. For about a hundred dollars a day, you can go diving. If you are interested in the world of the Red Sea then diving is for you. A week was not enough for me in Egypt, and I definitely want to return many more times."
Свой рассказ об красном море хочу начать с того, что это самое красивое море, море-заповедник, и это именно то место где стоит побывать не один раз в своей жизни.
Красное море на находится в Египте, в Южной Африке. Все побережье моря строго охраняется государством. Есть очень много законов, которые защищают все что находится в этом море. Например, если вы хотите взять с собой кораллы в качестве сувениров, то за 1 см коралла вам могут дать 10 лет лишения свободы. При мне был случай как одна девушка случайно сломала коралл и решила взять его с собой, но человек, который за этим следит сказал, что она могла получить почти 110 лет тюрьмы. Так что я точно не рекомендую так делать.
Подводный мир Красного моря очень богат всеми возможными видами рыб и кораллов. Они могут быть разных размеров и цветов, например, есть рыба Наполеон, она примерно размером с человека, но ее голова больше в 2 раза, чем голова человека. Эта рыба очень дружелюбна и для человека не опасна, хотя и выглядит страшно. Так же в красном море есть очень большое количество дельфинов. Мне самому удалось один раз их увидеть, когда я был на экскурсии. Это прекрасное событие.
Кораллы — это особые обитатели моря. Они растут 1 см почти 100 лет!!! Поэтому они так строго охраняются законом. И так же потому что многие виды рыб не могу жить без них.
Я сам был в Египте 3 раза, и все 3 раза это был незабываемый отдых. Очень дружелюбный персонал, сервис на хорошем уровне, отличная мягкая погода и хорошие пляжи, все что нужно для отличного отдыха. Вам каждый день будут предлагать посетить различные исторические места. И это не дорого. За 100-150 долларов, можно один день занимать дайвингом. Если вам интересен мир Красного моря, то дайвинг — это точно для вас и это самый интересный вид экскурсии по Красному морю, очень рекомендую. И попробовав один раз, хочется вернуться в этот подводный мир снова и снова.
Так же в Египте очень много очень старых городов с очень большой историей, такие как Луксор, Каир, Александрия и так далее. Очень большее количество храмов и доисторических мест. Но и самое главное можно посмотреть одно из 7 чудес света – Это Пирамиды Гиза или Гробницы Фараонов Египта.
В конце хочу сказать, что лично для меня Красное море это одно из самых красивых мест на планете, в которое я точно хочу вернуть еще много и много раз.
